The Thursley Common 10km is a trail running event that takes place at Thursley National Nature Reserve in Surrey. The listed location is Dyehouse Road, Thursley, Godalming, GU8 6QA.
The reserve covers 325 hectares and contains areas of open dry heathland, peat bogs, and pine and deciduous woodlands. The site supports around 20 species of dragonflies and damselflies around its open ponds and a variety of birds, including Dartford warblers, stone chats, goldcrests, redstarts, whitethroats and wheatears.
The run is described by the organiser Running Adventures as the flattest route they offer and includes a boardwalk that has been recognised as Britains Favourite Path. The event is presented for people new to trail running, runners who wish to meet others, and those who prefer not to run trails alone at dusk or night. The distance is 10 km.
