Thursley Common 10km

Running Adventures leads a guided 10 km trail run at Thursley National Nature Reserve in Surrey. The reserve covers about 325 hectares and includes open dry heathland, peat bogs, pine and deciduous woodland. Participants will run sections around ponds and along the reserve's boardwalk.

The route is described as the flattest run offered by the organiser and includes the boardwalk that was named "Britain's Favourite Path". Sessions are scheduled in winter as night runs and in summer as sunset runs, providing group runs at dusk or by headtorch after dark.

The format is non-competitive and group based; participants should be comfortable sustaining an average pace of 10 min/miles | 6 min/km on trail for prolonged periods and have a suitable level of fitness. A full kit list is provided to attendees. Head torches are available for evening runs and some trail shoes are available to test. A car park is available near the meeting point. The listed cost is £16 per person and non-alcoholic beer may be offered at the end of the run subject to availability. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
