London - Beckenham Place Park Pretty Muddy 5k

The Pretty Muddy 5k is a mud-focused obstacle event held within Beckenham Place Park in London, organised by Cancer Research UK. The course is fully contained in the park and runs on a mixture of grass and paths with some steep inclines and undulating areas. Obstacles include climbing, crawling and sliding; marshals are on hand and participants may skip an obstacle if needed.

Waves start every 15 minutes to manage safety on the course. Participants must be 13 years of age or older for this event. There is a separate Pretty Muddy Kids offering for children aged 12 and under.

The start line is on the open grass area near Beckenham Place Mansion and the finish line is on the open grass opposite. Facilities listed for the event include refreshments, toilets, a bag drop and space for dogs. Showers are not available, and the route is not suitable for pushchairs or wheelchair users. Event parking is not available at the venue; nearby residential roads offer parking options and blue badge parking is accessed via the Beckenham Hill Road entrance. The nearest train station is Beckenham Hill, about 0.5 miles away, and the nearest bus service is number 54 at Highland Croft. There are approximately 16 cycle spaces in the cafe courtyard.

Entry prices are shown for adults and children and a minimum fundraising target applies. Participants receive event materials such as a fundraising pack, a customisable back sign, training resources and a finisher medal. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
