Race for Life Pretty Muddy London - Blackheath

Race for Life Pretty Muddy is a 5k obstacle event held on Sunday 28 June 2026 at Blackheath Common. The course is an obstacle loop where participants climb, crawl and slide over elements placed along a mainly grassy route. The event is open to people aged 13 or older; Pretty Muddy Kids events are available separately for children aged 12 and under.

The start and finish are on grass next to Prince Charles Road. The course winds up and down the heath and is described as relatively flat throughout. The route crosses some roads around the heath; those roads are closed for safety during the event. Start times are staggered in waves every 15 minutes and groups should register for the same wave.

Facilities on site include refreshments and toilets. The event is not suitable for wheelchair users and pushchairs are not recommended. Dogs are not allowed. Bag drop and showers are not available. There is no designated event parking on the heath and parking bays on surrounding roads will be suspended; blue badge parking is available in local car parks. The nearest train station is Blackheath, about a 10 minute walk. Bus services stop on Prince Charles Road and nearby streets. Bike racks are available on Tranquil Vale and an electric charging point is in Blackheath Grove Carpark.

Entry fees listed are £22.49 for adults and £12.00 for children. A minimum fundraising target of £50.00 applies. Registered participants receive a fundraising pack, a customisable back sign, training support and a Race for Life medal. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
