Solstice at the Lakes is a timed trail event held at Leybourne Lakes Country Park. The event runs across a weekend and offers multiple timed formats that let participants cover as much distance as they can within their chosen time.

All races use a fully marked 2.5km lakeside loop that combines smooth trail, gravel and tarmac. The course returns through the race village each lap, so participants remain close to their kit, support crews and race services.

• 24 Hour - solo or relay, teams of 2 to 4 participants
• 12 Hour - solo
• 6 Hour Daylight - solo
• 6 Hour Twilight - solo

The race village provides space for a single participant tent or gazebo, seating and a dedicated crew area. Facilities include hot food and refreshments, toilets and changing, an on-site café during opening hours, professional chip timing with live lap updates, and medical support. Paid parking is available within the park and spectators are welcome around the race village.

Key rules include a minimum age of 20, completion of at least one full lap to receive an official result and medal, a cupless policy requiring a reusable cup, and a requirement for a suitable headtorch with spare batteries for those continuing after dark.
