Solstice at the Lakes 2026 is a timed trail running event at Leybourne Lakes Country Park in Kent on 20 to 21 June 2026. It offers multiple timed race formats for solo runners and relay teams over a measured loop.

Distances and formats:

• 24-hour : Solo, Pair (2) or Team Relay (up to 4)
• 12-hour : Solo only
• 6-hour : Solo, two event options across the weekend

The course is a fully marked 2.5 km loop around Leybourne Lakes. The route is described as flat and scenic with a mix of maintained trail, gravel and tarmac.

A central race village provides food and drink, toilets, changing areas, rest zones and seating for runners and support crews. Official race timing and live lap updates are provided. A medical team is on site throughout the event. Medals are awarded to runners completing at least one lap. Podium awards are given for top open and female solo races and team races; 6 hour podiums are awarded to combined event winners. Paid parking is available at the park and spectators are welcome; a cafe operates during park opening hours.

Race rules include a minimum age of 20 on race day, visible bibs, completing the course on foot with no external assistance, crew only in designated support areas, no pacing, and a cupless policy. Overnight participants must carry a headtorch with sufficient batteries.
