Cheshire - Tatton Park Pretty Muddy 5k

This event is a Pretty Muddy 5k obstacle course set within Tatton Park in Knutsford, WA16 6QN. The route uses a mixture of grass and gravel and runs across uneven ground through parts of the park's 1,000 acre estate. The course and course map are subject to change.

Participants start and finish on the showground next to the adventure playground. Entrances for the event are via Rostherne Gate or Mere Gate with directional signage and stewards on site. Start waves are staggered, with each wave beginning 15 minutes after the last to manage numbers on the course.

Entry fees shown are £22.49 for adults and £12.00 for children. The minimum fundraising target is £50.00. To take part a person must be at least 13 years old at the time of the event.

On-site facilities listed include refreshments, toilets and parking. Blue Badge parking is available via Mere Gate, with an accessible route of about 100 m on a gravel track to the event site. There are no electric charging points, no bus service to the venue and no bike racks. Dogs are not allowed. The event is not suitable for wheelchair users or pushchairs.

Tackle a scenic 4.5 mile fell race with 305 m of climbing around Bamford in the Peak District on Monday 25 May 2026. Part of the lively Bamford sheepdog trial festival, the event pairs fast trails with rural festivities and offers pre entry..

A 3 km or 5 km run at Bowdon Rugby Club with drinking stations every kilometre and a mix of inflatable and non inflatable obstacles. Drinks are included and only participants aged 18 or over may take part.

Three trail routes start at Bakewell Showground and explore varied Peak District terrain including moors, valleys and parts of the Pennine Way. The Half Marathon route includes outposts and does not allow dogs.

A timed track ultra at Woodbank Park where runners complete as many 400 m laps as possible within 6, 12 or 24 hour limits, with chip timing, an aid station and indoor facilities on site.
