Edinburgh - Hopetoun House 10k

Race for Life at Hopetoun House in South Queensferry, Edinburgh is a chip timed running event with multiple distance options. The course is relatively flat and runs mostly on gravel and forestry paths. The start and finish area are on gravel in front of Hopetoun House.

Participants must be aged 16 and over. Entry fees listed are £17.49 for adults and £11.00 for children. A minimum fundraising target of £50 applies. A Spring Sale offers 50 percent off entry with code SPRING26 until 19 April 2026.

Facilities available on site include refreshments, toilets, dogs allowed, and event parking within the grounds. Designated Blue Badge parking is adjacent to the House and drop offs may be made at the main estate entrance. There are no electric charging points, no public transport links to the venue, and no cycle racks. The event is not wheelchair accessible and is not suitable for pushchairs because much of the course uses forestry and gravel paths.

Event accessibility provisions include Sunflower wristbands at the enquiries marquee, Event Managers trained as Dementia Friends, and a QR code for British Sign Language stage content. Participants receive a fundraising pack, a customisable back sign, training support, community access, and a Race for Life medal on completion.
