Route and safety

If a participant retires, they are asked to notify event staff.

Pre-entry is preferred. Race numbers will not be posted in advance but will be available for collection on the day at the Palacerigg Visitor Centre. The entry fee is £18 and includes a shuttle bus from Greenfaulds Station and a goodie bag with a memento; a £2 discount is available for Scottish Athletics members. Early discounted entry of £16 is shown until 24 May 2026. Limited edition T-shirts and hoodies are available by pre-order by 3 May; a contribution from these sales will go to the charity. Entries may be amended, transferred or deferred until 31 May 2026. Car parking at the park is limited; a shuttle bus and car sharing are encouraged. Bag storage is available at the Golf Club Cafe but is not supervised. Toilets are on site.
