Palacerigg Trail 10k is an annual trail run around Palacerigg Country Park, running in its third year in 2026. The event raises funds for Freedom City Foundation, a local charity that provides a foodbank and tailored support services for people in the Cumbernauld area.

The route is an undulating trail through Palacerigg Country Park, Forrest Wood and Glencryan, with a mix of single track and forest paths. Trail shoes are advised, and participants are warned that footwear may get muddy. The advertised distance is approximately 10k. There is no time limit and friendly tail walkers will support the field.
