Race for Life Brighton at Stanmer Park

Race for Life Brighton takes place at Stanmer Park and offers routes across fields, woodland and park paths. Distances available on the day are:

  • 10k
  • 5k
  • 3k

The course starts and finishes on grass and uses a mix of tarmac, grass and gravel. The 10k is a double lap route with a road crossing that may cause congestion. There are inclines and declines at several points, and in wet weather grass and woodland sections can become muddy, soft or slippery.

The event lists facilities including refreshments, toilets and a bag drop. Blue Badge parking is available inside the park in the Lower Lodges WEST Car Park. General parking and drop off arrangements are being confirmed with the University of Sussex for 2027. Electric vehicle charging is available in the university multi storey car park. Cycle parking stands are provided at several locations in the park. The nearest train access is a footpath from Falmer station, about an eight minute walk. Bus services stop near the park gates; one route runs approximately every 15 minutes on Sundays.

Organiser materials note a fundraising element, including a minimum fundraising target, a fundraising pack, a customisable back sign, training support and a finisher medal. The start and finish area is located in the field opposite the Lower Lodges EAST Car Park. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
