Queen City Trail Series - Superior Division
The Queen City Trail Series Superior Division is a sequence of organized trail races based in Marquette, Michigan. The series includes five monthly trail races held from May through September, followed by a championship event in October that brings divisions together for a 10K race in Marquette.
Races take place on a variety of local trail networks named in the event details, including Harlow Lake Trails, Marquette South Trails, Blueberry Ridge Trails, Marquette Mountain Trails, and Forestville Trails. Course routes for each race will be published on the organizer's social channels before the events. Some races use trails managed by the NTN and participants are invited to support trail maintenance through donations.
Distances covered across the series include:
- 5K
- 6K
- 8K
- 3 Miles
- 6K
- 10K
Registration is free for each individual race. Scoring for the series uses a proportional points system tied to each race winning time, with a maximum of 15 points available to the first place finisher; the proportional approach allows athletes who run more races to accumulate points across the series. The series concludes with acknowledgement of division winners and an overall series winner, followed by a post-race celebration. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
