Puddleducks Trail

Puddleducks Trail is a trail running event in Dunsop Bridge, Clitheroe (postcode BB7 3BB) on Sunday 5 July 2026. The event offers two fully signed trail distances:

  • 10K

Entry is via an online entry portal. The entry fees listed are £30 for the 15K and £25 for the 10K; entries on the day may be available for an additional £5. Postal entries are not accepted. The minimum age is 17 on the day. Payments are accepted by major credit and debit cards through Stripe. The entry fee covers administration, a race bib with chip timing, a marked route, medical support, and on-day facilities.

Parking within the village is included in the entry fee. Event facilities, including registration, race pack collection, toilets and baggage storage, are located at race headquarters (postcode BB7 3BB).

Aid stations and bottled water are provided; bottled water will be available at approximately six miles with a collection point about 100 metres after that station. Runners will not be permitted to carry bottles past this point. Chip timing is used via a silver tag on the bib and results will be published shortly after the event. Remote Medical Services medics will be on-site and stewards and the medical team will be connected by radio.

All finishers receive a bespoke medal and a technical t shirt. Individual awards include first three men and first three ladies overall and first male and female vets in 40, 50, 60 and 70 age categories. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.

Skipton Skedaddle is a trail event from Skipton with distances from 14 to 52.4 miles, visiting Malham Tarn and Gordale Scar. Ultramarathon entrants receive trackers and checkpoints offer food with vegan and gluten free options.

A fell race from the Showfield in Sedbergh up Winder with a steep ascent and descent. The event includes a senior 3.5 km course with 340 m climb and four junior distances and counts for the BOFRA championship.

A 5.2 mile fell race with about 1,200 ft of ascent from Appletreewick to Simons Seat and back. Entry costs £10 and includes a drink to be taken at the finish; the event is for over 18s.

A 50-mile point-to-point ultra from Sedgwick near Kendal to Lea Town on 16 May 2026, following the Lancaster Canal with coastal and rural views and a four-leg relay option.
