The event is hosted at the Plough & Harrow in Litlington, East Sussex, and involves a course primarily situated on public footpaths and bridleways. Use of trail running shoes is recommended in wet conditions.

Course Details

Participants follow a route that is predominantly clockwise. The terrain is structured in three phases: flat sections at the start to warm up, a hilly middle section, and a final flat stretch to finish. The course includes a couple of road crossings. This is a self-navigated event; participants are responsible for their own navigation using Strava, GPX files on a phone or watch, or a provided written narrative. A tail runner follows the participants to sweep the course.

  • A finisher's medal
  • A beverage (pint, wine, hot drink, or soft drink) provided upon returning the race number at the bar
