Race for Life Pretty Muddy Brighton

Brighton Pretty Muddy 5k at Stanmer Park

This event is a Pretty Muddy 5k obstacle course held on Saturday 27 June 2026 at Stanmer Park, Lewes Road, Brighton BN1 9SE. The start and finish are on grass and the route runs through fields and woodland with cross-country terrain and some steep inclines.

Participants navigate a series of muddy obstacles that involve climbing, crawling and sliding. Start times are staggered in waves to manage numbers on course. Marshals are on hand to assist and participants may skip obstacles if needed. To take part entrants must be 13 years of age or older; separate Pretty Muddy Kids events are offered for children aged 12 and under.

Practical details include a meeting point by the playground next to Lower Lodges Car Park West. Accessible parking is available inside the park at the Lower Lodges Car Park West. Cycle parking is provided in several car parks and a footpath links the event site to Falmer train station. General event parking for 2026 is being confirmed.

Facilities listed as available include refreshments, toilets and parking. The event is not suitable for wheelchair users, pushchairs are not suitable and dogs are not allowed. Sunflower wristbands are available at the enquiries marquee, Event Managers have Dementia Friends training and a QR code will provide British Sign Language stage content.
