The Housedean Half and 10K is an inaugural trail event that starts and finishes at Housedean Farm on the South Downs. The course passes through working farm land and includes a mix of gravel paths and well-kept trails. Runners will pass local landmarks such as Ashcombe Bottom, Offham, Mount Harry, Streat Hill Farm, Saint Mary's Farm, Moon's Corner and Balmer Farm. The route provides views across Lewes, Plumpton and the surrounding countryside.

  • 10K - shorter route on the same paths with fewer climbs.

The event is officially classed as a trail race with light trail sections and pathway running. The course is accurately measured and chip-timed. Facilities on site include toilets, hot showers for campers, drinking water, aid stations with water, fully stocked aid stations, marshals, food trucks and spectator seating. Finishers receive a medal; trophies are awarded to the first three finishers. Limited parking is available at the farm; small lay-bys offer short-term drop-off.
