P24 - The Longest Attended Day
The event takes place on Saturday 20 June 2026 at Denbies Wine Estate in Dorking, Surrey. Participants attempt to run 1 mile at the same time each hour, repeating that mile across 24 consecutive hours on an off road trail through the wine estate. The route is described as as flat as possible.
The event uses full chip timing. Those who complete all 24 miles receive a P24 finisher medal that is 12 mm thick and weighs approximately half a kilo. The organiser operates an attended event alongside a simultaneous virtual version so attended and virtual participants take part across the same 24 hour period.
Onsite facilities include camping for tents only with no mobile homes or campers permitted, seating available between miles, and 24 hour access to toilet facilities. During daytime hours an onsite cafe provides hot food from an outdoor serving hatch and offers teas, coffees, drinks, bacon rolls, sausage rolls and a selection of vegetarian and vegan options.
Places for the attended event are strictly limited. Entry fees are listed as £57.95 for affiliated entrants and £59.95 for unattached entrants. Distance restrictions apply to participants aged 20 or under under UK Athletics rules and further terms and conditions are provided by the organiser.
