Course and aid stations

The River Trails are relatively flat singletrack with a few short hills, few roots, and few rocks. The Pi Miler follows the 5K Loop. The Half Marathon consists of three loops: one loop run counterclockwise, one loop run clockwise, and the 4 Corners Loop. Turnarounds use permanent signage and will be flagged on race day. A smaller aid station is near the 5K turnaround. Half marathoners pass that smaller station once per loop and also pass a larger aid station at the trailhead twice during the race. Water, electrolytes, snacks, and fruit will be available. Runners are encouraged to bring reusable hydration bottles or cups; a limited number of cups will be provided.

Awards, cutoffs, and policies

Awards for 1st through 3rd place in each gender are given for the Pi Miler and Half Marathon. Pi Slam finishers receive a special swag item and are eligible for place awards. The race enforces an overall end time and requires half marathoners to begin their final loop before the race deadline; participants who start a loop after that deadline continue without race support. Runners may transfer distances or defer entry under the stated race policies and deadlines. Volunteer sign-up will open in advance of the event.
