I Double Ogg Dare You!

I Double Ogg Dare You! is a timed hill-repeat running event held on Ogg Road in Shawnee, KS. Entrants run repeated 1.1 mile laps on a loop that begins in the parking lot at the top of Ogg Road, proceeds down to the bridge at the road base, follows marked turnaround cones, and returns up the hill through the parking area. Each lap has approximately 200 feet of elevation gain. Runners complete as many full laps as they can within their chosen time limit. Only full laps count and the race stops counting laps at the end of each event duration.

The event is limited to 175 entrants, is chip timed with mats at the start/finish, and provides medical staff on site. A single aid station is located in the start/finish area offering water, Tailwind, assorted snacks including vegan and gluten free options, sandwiches, soda, and other items. Pizza will be available for six hour runners and volunteers around midday. This is a cupless event; participants must provide their own bottle or cup.

Rules include no poles, no pacers, no partial laps, no course cutting, no alcohol on course, and no on-course dogs. Awards include a finisher patch and top three awards for women, men, and non-binary finishers in each distance. The event may be delayed, paused, or canceled for lightning, ice, or severe storms.
