I Double Ogg Dare You! is a timed running event on Ogg Road in Shawnee, Kansas. Participants can choose to run for either 3 hours or 6 hours. The event is limited to 175 total entrants.

Course Details

The race starts at the top of Ogg Road. The course is a paved, out-and-back loop. Runners start, run down Ogg Road to a bridge, turn around, and run back up. Each full lap is 1.1 miles with approximately 200 feet of elevation gain. Only full laps completed within the time limit are counted. The event is held regardless of weather, but may be delayed or canceled for lightning, ice, or severe storms.

Aid and Facilities

A full aid station is located at the start/finish area. It provides water, Tailwind, soda, chips, candy, sandwiches, cookies, and other snacks, with vegan and gluten-free options. Pizza is available for 6-hour runners and volunteers between 12 and 1 PM. Medical staff are on site. This is a cupless event; runners must provide their own bottle or cup. Runners can set up a personal area in a designated zone.

Rules and Awards

No poles, pacers, alcohol, dogs on the course, or littering are allowed. Personal music devices with headphones are permitted. The race is chip-timed. Each finisher receives a patch.
