Muddy Dash in Kansas City is a family friendly mud run held at Valley Speedway on June 13, 2026. The main course is a 5K that includes obstacles, mud pits, and slides. Kids are welcome and the event operates with specific rules for youth participants.
The course features about a dozen muddy moments where participants will run, walk, crawl, wade, slip, or slide to progress. Mud pits are reported to be no deeper than waist high. The event is presented as noncompetitive and is not focused on timing. Costumes are welcome and course staff identified as Mud Experts assist participants.
A Pre-Party takes place before the race with music, a DJ, dancing, and photo opportunities. An After-Party begins at the finish area and includes a DJ, music, dancing, food trucks, and beer.
Two registration tiers are described. The Value registration includes a race bib, finisher medal, post race party access, and course features. The VIP registration adds VIP check-in, an event t shirt, towel, drawstring bag, socks, and a silicone wristband.
Practical information includes packet pickup on June 12 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Valley Speedway, 348 E Old Hwy 40, Grain Valley, MO 64029.
