Tour de Trail: Shawnee Mission Park North

Tour de Trail is a series of 10Kish trail races held at multiple Kansas City area trail systems. This stage takes place at Shawnee Mission Park North, with the start/finish and packet pickup located at the top of Ogg Road near 7900 Renner Road, Shawnee, KS. Stage distances will be in the 10K range and typically fall between 5.5 and 6.5 miles. The series includes six races; single-race entry is $50 with $5 donated to Urban Trail Co. Discounted pricing is offered for registration to all six races prior to the posted registration deadline. Race day registration is available at a higher fee and accepts cash, check, Venmo, or card via Venmo.

Timing uses clock timing and results are posted on UltraSignup. Aid on course is water only; this is a cupless event so participants must bring their own hydration device such as a handheld or vest. Finish line provisions include cold fizzy water, soda, and light snacks.

Event rules include no littering, no poles except by prior exemption, no alcohol in Johnson County parks, and required leash and cleanup for dogs. Course markings will be explained at the pre race briefing. Personal music devices are allowed with headphones and a volume that permits awareness of other users. Children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult for the entire race. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
