Tour de Trail: Big Bull Creek Park
Tour de Trail at Big Bull Creek Park in Edgerton, KS is a trail race offered as part of a six-race summer series. Each stage targets the 10K range and may measure about 5.5 to 6.5 miles depending on the trail and conditions. The series donates five dollars from each entry to Urban Trail Co.
Single-race entry pricing is fifty dollars, with race day registration and payment options listed by the organizer. Discounts are available for registering for all six stages before the series deadline; athletes who complete all six races receive a special finishers award. All registrants receive a piece of swag and a sticker specific to the trail.
Timing uses clock timing and results are posted on UltraSignup. Aid along the course is water only and the event is cupless; participants must provide their own hydration device such as a handheld or hydration vest. The finish area will offer cold fizzy water, soda and light snacks.
Course markings will be explained in a pre-race briefing. Participants must follow the marked course and backtrack if they go off course. Rules include no littering, no poles except by medical exemption, no alcohol in county parks, dogs on leash with waste picked up, and music allowed only with headphones at a volume that permits hearing others. Children under twelve must be accompanied by an adult for the entire race. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
