Tour de Trail: Big Bull Creek Park

Tour de Trail at Big Bull Creek Park is a trail race in Edgerton, KS held on July 18, 2026 and organized by Team Sparkle. The event is part of a six-race Tour de Trail series that visits different area trails during the summer; the series distances are roughly in the 10K range and individual courses may vary between about 5.5 and 6.5 miles depending on the trail and conditions. The organizer donates USD 5 from each individual entry to Urban Trail Co, a local 501(c)(3) that supports trail building and maintenance.

This race uses clock timing and posts results on UltraSignup. Aid on course is water only; the event is cupless, so participants must provide their own hydration device such as a handheld or hydration vest. Finish-line provisions include cold fizzy water, soda and light snacks. Runners are allotted four hours to complete the course.

Course markings will be explained in a pre-race briefing. Participants are expected to follow the marked course; cutting the course or failing to follow markings may result in disqualification. Dogs are allowed if leashed and cleaned up after. Poles are not allowed except by prior medical exemption. No alcohol is allowed in Johnson County parks. Personal music devices may be used with headphones at a volume that still allows awareness of other trail users. Children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult for the entire race.
