Miola Madness - Hot Summer Nights

Miola Madness is a timed running event held at Miola Lake near Paola, KS. The course is an approximately 6 mile crushed limestone loop around the lake. The boat ramp trail head serves as the Race Hub and the main start and finish area. Restrooms, a dog park, and a short drive to the beach are available near the Race Hub.

Event formats include time limited efforts and a new fixed distance. The event offers:

The course includes one primary, abundantly stocked aid station and a secondary fluid only aid station. Hammer Nutrition will provide electrolyte drink, gels, and additional performance fuel at the aid stations. Participants may run as much or as little as they wish within their chosen time window; runners do not have to cover the full time option to participate.

Miola Madness is the second event in a three part series. The event has a no refunds, no transfers, and no deferrals policy. It will take place regardless of weather. Event rules note that pets must be leashed, littering is prohibited, runners must stay on the designated trail, participants should be respectful of volunteers and park staff, and crews must meet runners only at designated crew access aid stations.
