Miola Madness

Midwest Endurance organizes Miola Madness, a timed running event. The event is part of a three-part series. The course is a loop of approximately six miles on crushed limestone around Miola Lake.

The event offers several distances and formats. Participants can choose from:

  • 10K
  • A timed run of 3 hours
  • A timed run of 6 hours
  • A timed run of 9 hours
  • A timed run of 12 hours

The start and finish for all races is at the boat ramp trail head. This area serves as the main Race Hub and has restrooms and a dog park nearby. There is one primary, fully stocked aid station and one secondary aid station with only fluids on the course. Hammer Nutrition supplies electrolyte drink, gels, and other performance fuel.

The 10K is an inaugural distance for the event. Anyone setting or breaking an event record for the 10K will receive a "Record Setter" sign. The event takes place regardless of weather. The event policy states there are no refunds, transfers, or deferrals.

Pets must be kept on a leash, and littering is prohibited. Runners must stay on the designated trail and be respectful of volunteers and park staff. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
