Event Overview
Ultrapalooza is part of the Kansas Super Slam of Ultrarunning Series. The event takes place on September 26-27, 2026, in Osawatomie, Kansas. All races start and finish at the Mile 0 Flint Hills trailhead. The course is an out-and-back on the Flint Hills Trail, a flat, crushed gravel rail-trail.

Course & Logistics
The course travels through the Flint Hills tallgrass prairie, alongside the Marais Des Cygnes River, and through farmland and woodlands. It is described as flat and fast. Aid stations, manned and unmanned, are placed no more than 6 miles apart. Manned stations provide water, electrolyte drinks, snack foods, sandwiches, chips, candy, and gels.
A 30-hour time limit applies to the 100 miler, 100K, and 50 miler. The 50K and Marathon have a 12-hour limit. The Half Marathon has a 6-hour limit. Pacers are allowed for the 100 mile, 100K, and 50 mile distances, but only after specific mileage points. Drop bags are permitted for manned aid stations. Runners must submit a completed medical information sheet.
All registered racers receive a customized technical blend race shirt if registered by September 5th. The event also provides a swag bag with product and awards for top male and female overall finishers in all distances. Late registration is available, but shirts and swag are not guaranteed for late entries. The event has a no-refund, no-transfer policy, though deferrals to the following year are possible if requested at least 10 days prior.
