Miola Madness - Fall Edition

Miola Madness Fall Edition is a timed running event held in Paola, KS at 22470 W 299th Street on an approximately 6 mile crushed limestone loop around Miola Lake. The event is organized by Midwest Endurance and is the third event in a three part Miola Madness series.

Available formats cover multiple time based efforts and an individual distance. Distances and formats include:

  • 12 hour timed event
  • 9 hour timed event
  • 6 hour timed event
  • 3 hour timed event
  • 10K distance

The course uses a boat ramp trail head as the start and finish area and as the main race hub. The hub area has restrooms, a nearby dog park, and a short drive to the beach. The loop features one primary abundantly stocked aid station and one secondary fluid only aid station. Hammer Nutrition will provide electrolyte drink, gels, and other performance fuel.

Event rules require pets to be leashed, prohibit littering, and require runners to stay on the designated trail. Runners and crews must be respectful of volunteers and park staff, and crews may meet runners only at designated crew access aid stations. The 10K is an inaugural distance with male and female event records available and a record setter sign awarded. Miola Madness Spring Into Daylight Savings is a timed running event at Miola Lake in Paola, KS on a 6ish mile crushed limestone loop. It offers 3, 6, 9 and 12 hour formats plus a new 10K and stocked aid stations.

The Prairie Spirit Trail Run in Ottawa, Kansas features a flat, rails-to-trails course with distances from 5 miles to 100 miles. All finishers earn a unique belt buckle, and the event includes fully stocked aid stations and post-race meals.

Trail running on the Flint Hills Trail near Osawatomie, Kansas, with 50K, 20 mile, 10 mile and a Fun Run on a flat crushed gravel out and back course and stocked aid stations about every 5 miles.

A roughly 10K trail race at Big Bull Creek Park in Edgerton KS, part of a six-race Tour de Trail series that donates five dollars per entry to Urban Trail Co. Clock timing, cupless water stations, and specific course rules apply.
