KCCC Fall Series 5K

The KCCC Fall Series 5K is a trail running event held at Kill Creek Park in Olathe, Kansas. The race covers a distance of 3.1 miles (5 km) on the trails within the park. Participants are organized into starting waves based on their estimated finish times, with waves departing approximately every minute.

The event features two primary categories:

  • 5K: Open to participants aged 18 to 100.
  • 5K - YOUTH: Open to participants aged 18 and under.

The course is reserved for registered participants wearing the provided race bibs. Walkers are permitted and are directed to start at the back of the field. Each participant's bib must be pinned to the front of their clothing and must remain visible when crossing the finish line.

Awards are presented to the top three male and female finishers in various age categories. These 10-year age groups include Under 18, 19-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70+. Final scoring is based on the participant's age as of December 31st of the current year.
