PHOENIX Fridays - Run for a Tenner Friday - November
PHOENIX Fridays are a series of timed Friday running events held at Xcel SPORTS HUB Stadium in Walton on Thames, Surrey. This Run for a Tenner event has an entry fee of £10, and the full amount is donated to the Rays of Sunshine Children’s Charity.
The event uses a 5.3 km (3.28 mile) out-and-back lap along the river Thames on a riverside towpath. Participants may complete as many laps as they wish within a 7 hour time limit. The minimum distance for recorded results is one lap, 3.28 miles. The course is off road trail on a towpath with no elevation gain or loss.

These Friday events are smaller than the organiser’s weekend events and have a lower entry fee than the themed events. All attended and virtual participants receive a finishers' memento, and the charity Run for a Tenner features a double sided Rays of Sunshine medal.
