PHOENIX Fridays - Friday the 13th 2026

PHOENIX Fridays continues as a series of Friday running events with a flexible rock up and run format. These events are described as smaller than the organiser's weekend events and have a lower entry fee than the standard themed entries.

Participants choose their distance within a timed format and can complete as many laps as they wish of a 5.3 km course. Distances offered include:

  • 5 km
  • 10 km
  • Half marathon
  • Marathon
  • Ultra

The course is a 5.3 km 3.28 mile out and back along the river Thames. The surface is off road trail on a riverside towpath. The overall course has no elevation gain or loss.

The minimum distance is 3.28 miles or as far as a participant can go within a seven hour time limit. All participants, attended or virtual, receive a finishers' medal from a selection provided by the organiser. The organiser notes that specific medals may be available on request. Places are strictly limited. Distance restrictions apply to participants aged 20 or under in line with UK Athletics rules; full terms and conditions are available from the organiser.
