PHOENIX Fridays - Fantastic Friday

PHOENIX Fridays is a series of timed Friday running events with flexible "rock up and run" start times. These Friday events are described as smaller than the organiser's weekend events and carry a lower entry fee while offering a selection of bespoke finisher medals.

Participants complete laps of a 5.3 km, 3.28 mile, out and back course along the river Thames. Distance is determined by the number of laps completed within the event time limit; one lap is recognised as a completed distance.

Distances available include:

  • 5 km
  • 10 km
  • Half marathon
  • Marathon
  • Ultra

The minimum reported distance is 3.28 miles or as far as a participant can run in 7 hours. The course is off road trail on a riverside towpath and is described as having no elevation gain or loss. The event is offered as both an attended run and a virtual option, and all participants in either format receive a giveaway medal or memento.

The event location is Xcel SPORTS HUB Stadium, Waterside Drive, Walton on Thames, Surrey KT12 2JG. Entry fees are listed for affiliated and unaffiliated participants and places are noted as strictly limited. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
