The men's 50K course record was 2:49:03 in 2020; the previous record was 3:11:55 from 2007. Pemberton Trail is race number 1 in the McDowell Mountain Cup series. Participation in the Stoneman 14K Trail Run (Feb. 7) and the Snakebite 20K or 10K (Mar. 1) makes a runner eligible for Mountain Cup prizes; series participation is not required. Early bird pricing ends Nov. 30, 2025, and runners who register by Dec. 10 are guaranteed a race shirt. Registration closes Jan. 22, 2026.
