Payson's Run 10k is a trail race held at the Nantahala Outdoor Center in Bryson City, North Carolina. The challenging 10-kilometer course features over 1,000 feet of elevation gain within the first three miles, primarily running along the Flint Ridge singletrack trail and passing the NOC’s zipline towers with scenic views of the Nantahala River. The route combines trail, packed gravel, and a short pavement section, with a turnaround near mile 3 before descending back to the start.
