Wesley Woods Trail Race, Townsend TN

Wesley Woods Trail Race takes place at Camp Wesley Woods in Townsend beneath the Foothills Parkway. The event offers multiple trail distances and a gravel kids run. The course uses the camp gravel service road and the perimeter trail system, including double track and some single track. Hilly terrain is present.

The event is built around a 3 mile loop that starts in front of the Nickel lodge building, follows the gravel road into a narrower service road, turns left onto Bob Hayes Trail to follow the property perimeter for about 1.7 miles, then returns to the main gravel road to finish the loop. One 3 mile loop has approximately 500 feet of elevation gain. The 3 mile loop is run once for the 3 mile events and multiple times for longer distances. A water and aid station is located at the gravel road and trail intersection near mile 2.
