The Wesley Woods Trail Race takes place on Saturday, February 7, 2026, at Camp Wesley Woods, 329 Wesley Woods Rd, Townsend, TN 37882. The event offers multiple distances and a hike:
- Kids 1-mile Gravel Run
- 3-mile Trail Run
- 6-mile Trail Run
- 9-mile Trail Run
- 12-mile Trail Run
- 3-mile Trail Hike
Awards will be given to the top three male and top three female finishers in each race event. No age-group awards are listed. All registered runners receive a camp shirt; the shirt order cutoff is January 31.
Course and logistics
Races start in front of the Nickel Lodge on the camp gravel service road. The route follows the gravel road, then a narrower service road, turning left onto Bob Hayes Trail to follow the property perimeter for about 1.7 miles before returning to the main gravel road to complete the 3-mile loop. The 3-mile loop is used multiple times to form the 3, 6, 9 and 12 mile events. Trail types include double track and some single track with hilly terrain; one 3-mile loop has approximately 500 ft of elevation gain. A water/aid station is located at the gravel road/trail intersection along the camp main road (around mile 2). The 3-mile hike is a single lap; hikers may walk at their own pace or with local hiking guides to be named closer to the event. Proceeds support Camp Wesley Woods ministries.
