Path to Freedom 5k Obstacle Course

The Path to Freedom 5k Obstacle Course is a sports event held in Happy Valley, Oregon. The event takes place at 17980 SE Foster Rd and features a course length of 3.1 miles (5 km). Participants encounter 22 mission-inspired obstacles throughout the route, which include a cargo net climb, rope climb, monkey bars, and a wall climb. Other physical tasks on the course involve tire flips, sandbag carries, tire drags, and tunnel crawls.

The event is organized in partnership with Guardian Group to support efforts against human trafficking. The obstacles are designed to represent the journey from captivity to liberation. Beyond the race itself, the event grounds host live music and food carts available for participants. The founder of Guardian Group is also scheduled to speak during the event regarding their mission and ongoing work.

Registration includes an event T-shirt for all participants. The venue features on-site food options for purchase and designated areas for celebration after completion of the course. The event is open to individual runners, teams, and those participating in an obstacle course for the first time. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
