Path to Freedom 5k Obstacle Course
Path to Freedom 5K takes place on September 26, 2026, at 17980 SE Foster Rd, Happy Valley, OR. The course covers 3.1 miles and includes 22 symbolic obstacles that represent aspects of the fight to end human trafficking.
The obstacles are mission-inspired and designed to reflect a journey from captivity to liberation. The event partners with Guardian Group; proceeds and attention support Guardian Group's work to identify victims and disrupt trafficking networks. The program includes remarks from Guardian Group's founder about the challenges and outcomes of their mission.
Registration opens March 5, 2026 and closes June 1, 2026. The registration fee is $65.00. Registration includes an event T-shirt. Live music will be part of the post-course activities and food carts will be on site for food purchases.
The format combines running with obstacle navigation. The event accepts individual participants and teams. Participants should expect running, climbing, and other obstacle tasks along the course. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
