Partridge in a Pear Tree takes place on 6th December 2026 at Pengethley Manor, Ross-on-Wye (what3words: physical.growth.shelf). Entrants choose one target distance:
- 5k
- 10k
- Half Marathon
- Marathon
- Ultra
Each lap is 2.5 km, so the 5k distance is two laps. Participants have a 7-hour time limit to complete their chosen distance. The course is offroad and runs entirely within the grounds of Pengethley Manor. The route includes a hill that is run on each lap and a series of up-and-down sections that pass through two vineyards. The event is described as suitable for walkers and runners. A virtual option is available for those who cannot attend on the day.
Entries, medals and rules
Standard race entry and virtual entry options are offered, with different fees for in-person and virtual entries. Paid entrants receive the event medal; free virtual participation via the organiser’s Strava club is recorded on results lists but does not include a medal. Virtual entrants who pay may receive a virtual bib by email and have their run verified before a medal is posted. All entry fees and payments are non-refundable.
