Partridge in a Pear Tree

Partridge in a Pear Tree is part of a 12 Days of Christmas race series held at Pengethley Manor, Ross-on-Wye. Entrants choose their target distance and must complete it within a seven hour time limit. The event is open to walkers and runners.

Each lap measures 2.5k. The course is offroad, entirely within the grounds of Pengethley Manor. The route includes a hill that is run on every lap and a sequence of climbs and descents through two vineyards. The course is described as very tough.

Bibs are collected at on-site registration and a personalised virtual bib is emailed to paid entrants before the event. Virtual participation is possible from anywhere; paid virtual entrants receive the same type of medal as race finishers after verification. Free virtual participation is recorded on the results list but does not include a medal.

Entry fees are stated for race and virtual options and are non refundable. A charity entry option offers a reduced entry fee in return for a minimum fundraising commitment and additional conditions. Trail runs nearby

A 10 km trail run at Symonds Yat in the Forest of Dean with undulating terrain and views of the River Wye. The final 1 km includes a large climb to the finish. Coffee and hot food are available at the start and finish.

A multi-distance trail event in the Cotswolds on 10th May 2026, featuring quarter, half, marathon and Ultra 40 routes across trails, towpaths and commons with marked routes, checkpoints and on-course water.

Trail running from Sudeley Castle in the northern Cotswolds with routes from 7 km to 51 km, marked trails, outposts and mandatory kit requirements for longer distances.

Trail 5k and new 10k at Dunkertons Park lead through fields and woodlands to elevated viewpoints. Prizes are awarded for top three men and women and refreshments are provided at the race HQ.
