The Partridge in a Pear Tree is one day of a 12 Days of Christmas race series held at Pengethley Manor, Ross-on-Wye (what3words: physical.growth.shelf). Entrants choose one of these distances:

  • 5k
  • 10k
  • Half Marathon
  • Marathon
  • Ultra

Each lap on the course is 2.5 km. The route is offroad within the grounds of Pengethley Manor and includes a hill on each lap plus a series of up-and-down sections through two vineyards. Participants have a maximum of seven hours to complete their chosen distance. The event is open to walkers and runners.

Entry options and rules

Race entry fees are stated as: Race Entry £29.00, Virtual UK Entry £25.00, Virtual Overseas Entry £39.00. All entry fees are non-refundable. Entrants must be aged 18 or over. There is an option to defer an entry to the next year for a fee of £15 if done more than four weeks before the event. A charity entry option is available for a reduced £10 fee if the entrant commits to specified fundraising requirements and deadlines.

Virtual participation is available worldwide. Free virtual participation can be recorded via the organiser’s Strava club and will appear on results lists but does not include a medal.
