The Paradise Backyard Ultra is a trail running event held at Paradise Park in Paradise, Newfoundland and Labrador. The 2026 edition is titled the Silver Coin edition and is scheduled for May 22, 2026. Organizers note that registration for the 2026 event opens in October and that registration closes on May 8.
Organizers have increased the event field to 200 participants for recent editions and offered partial refunds of $60 in January 2025 to registrants unable to attend that year. The event operates as a non profit; any proceeds are donated to the East Coast Trail Association and a charity chosen by the Town of Paradise.
Event merchandise is available through a designated online outfitter, with custom t shirts and hats offered and the option to add a name to the back of shirts at no extra charge. Multiple orders are planned and participants were asked to place orders by the end of March to receive gear before race day.
