The Seaside Showdown Series: Sugarloaf Path takes place on June 20, 2026 in St. John's, Newfoundland and Labrador. The route follows the Sugarloaf Path, from Marine Lab to Quidi Vidi.

The distance offered is 9 km. Registration is independent for each race, but a season pass for all three remaining events in the series is available. Online registration closes on race day.

Course Details

The course is not flagged. Prior knowledge of the trail is expected, although volunteers will be stationed at key locations. A GPX file of the route will be provided to participants. The route is also available for download via the series' Strava club.

The check-in point and start line are at the Marine Lab, where parking is available. Carpooling is encouraged. The event is supported by the ECT50 East Coast Trail Ultra Marathon, The Outfitters, Train 4 Trails, and The East Coast Trail Association.
