Seaside Showdown Series: Deadman's Bay Path - July 18, 2026
This event is a trail race organized by Seaside Showdown Series in St. John's, NL, on the Deadman's Bay Path from Fort Amherst to Blackhead. The announced distance is 10.6K.
Participants are expected to know the trail because the course is not flagged. Volunteers will be positioned at key locations to help keep runners on the route and support safety. A GPX file is available on request so participants can follow the route on a Garmin watch or other devices. The series' Strava club also provides the routes for download.
Registration is individual and bibs are issued during race check-in on the day of the event. Registrations and bib numbers cannot be transferred to other individuals; moving a registration to another Seaside Showdown Series race is possible with advance notice. If the event is cancelled, refunds net of service fees or rollover registration options will be offered.
Parking is available at the start and finish areas. Carpooling or being dropped off is encouraged to ease access to the course.
