Seaside Showdown Series: Sugarloaf Path

The Seaside Showdown Series stages a trail race on June 19, 2027, in St. John's, NL. The course follows the Sugarloaf Path from the Marine Lab to Quidi Vidi and is offered as a 9K distance. The event is organized by Seaside Showdown Series and lists supporters including ECT50 East Coast Trail Ultra Marathon, The Outfitters, Train 4 Trails, and The East Coast Trail Association.

A GPX file for the route will be provided and the series maintains a Strava club where routes are available for download. Volunteers will staff key locations on course to help keep runners on the trail; the route itself is not flagged and participants are expected to know the course. Parking is available at both the starting area and the finish area.

Registration is managed through the series registration system, with availability noted through July 18 at 11:59 PM NT. The published registration price is USD 29.00. Registration and bib numbers are not transferable to other individuals, though transfers to another Seaside Showdown Series race may be possible with advance notice. If the event is cancelled, refunds less service fees or rollover registration options will be offered. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
