Seaside Showdown Series: Deadman's Bay Path

The event on July 17, 2027 is a 10.6K trail race in St. John's, NL, organized by the Seaside Showdown Series. The route follows the Deadman's Bay Path from Fort Amherst to Blackhead. The race is part of a series of four independent events for which a season pass is available.

The course is not permanently flagged; volunteers will be positioned at key locations to help keep participants on the trail. Racers are expected to know the route in advance. A GPX file is provided on request for use with watches or other navigation devices, and the series maintains a Strava club where all routes can be downloaded.

Registration closes on July 16, 2027 local time and bib numbers are issued at race check-in. Registration and bib numbers are not transferable to other individuals, though moving a registration to another Seaside Showdown Series race is possible with advance notice. If the event is cancelled, refunds less service fees or rollover registration will be offered.

Parking is available at both the start and finish locations; drop off or carpooling is encouraged. Community photo albums from recent years are maintained by the organizer. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
