Event Overview

The Otter Creek Trail Relay is a multi-loop team relay held over two days in Otter Creek Park in Brandenburg, Kentucky. The park is located along the Ohio River.

Course Details

Teams of 2 or 4 runners take turns running three distinct trail loops: a 3-mile loop, a 5-mile loop, and a 9-mile loop. Each loop starts and ends at a central hub area. The course features shaded singletrack trails, rocky ridgelines, dense forest, and views of the river. The race continues overnight, with runners using headlamps after sunset. A team's race is complete when all members have finished all three loops.

Facilities and Services

An aid station at the start/finish line provides snacks, hot food, and water. Water is also available on the course.
