Event Overview

The Kentucky Cryptid Series - Goatman is a five-mile trail run. It is the first event in a series of trail runs that take place in Louisville's parks. The run goes through the trails of Cherokee Park.

Course Details

The start and finish line is located near Hogan's Fountain in Cherokee Park. Participants follow the main five-mile trail loop. A course map is available online.

Awards

The race gives awards for Overall Male and Overall Female. For the entire series, there are additional awards. These include recognition for the oldest finisher, youngest finisher, and fastest finisher of the series.

Event Information

The event is cupless, meaning participants must bring their own water bottle, hydration pack, or cup. There will be limited bottled water and post-race snacks available. Parking is limited at Hogan's Fountain, and carpooling is encouraged. Packet pickup is on-site near Hogan's Fountain before the race. Race shirts are an optional add-on during registration.
