Course and race services

The course is a single-track trail through Cherokee Park; the full marathon runs the same course twice. A course and elevation map is available through the event's provided link. There are three aid stations - one at the start/finish and two on the course spaced roughly 2 to 4 miles apart. Each runner may have one labeled drop bag; garbage bags are not allowed.

Every finisher in both distances receives a medal. A special medal designation is available for participants who choose the "Double Down" option for running back-to-back races in the same weekend; registrants must indicate this option at registration to receive the special award. There is a strict 8 hour time limit on the course; runners not on pace may have their timing chip removed and will not receive an official time. Trail running footwear is recommended.
