ORRRC Frosty 14 Trail Race

Waynesville, United States • 21 Feb 2026

Event Overview

The ORRRC Frosty 14 Trail Race takes place in Caesar Creek State Park, starting and finishing at the park's visitor center in Waynesville, Ohio.

Course Details

The trail run begins at the visitor center and crosses a dam via a road section. It then transitions to single-track trails, includes a creek crossing, passes through varied terrain such as a small village and an abandoned road, and features a one-mile road section on SR73 around the 5.5-mile mark. The final 6.5-mile segment to the finish is described as 96.49343% single track and rolling. The event takes place in February, so weather conditions can be a factor. Participants should be prepared to potentially get wet at the creek crossing.

Registration & Fees

Pre-registration is handled through RunSignup. On race day, participants collect their timing chip at a green registration table. Registration is also available online until approximately 15 minutes before the start, with hard-copy forms available if needed.

  • Entry is free for current Ohio River Road Runners Club (ORRRC) members.
  • For non-members, the fee is $10 for ages 15 and up.
  • Entry is free for participants aged 14 and under.

Amenities & Logistics

Post-race homemade chili, including a vegetarian option, is provided. Three aid stations with water and an energy drink are located on the course; one is volunteer-operated and two are self-serve. This is a cupless event, so runners must bring their own cup or water bottle. An early start option is available for runners who anticipate needing more than five hours to complete the course; these participants self-time and report their finish time to the timing team. Organizers recommend arriving at least one hour before the race start to park and register. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
