Course and logistics

The course covers 10 miles arranged as two 5-mile loops through Forest Field and Bill Yeck Parks. Surfaces are mostly trails and prairie with some black top and crushed gravel paths. Parking is in the large parking lot at Forest Field Park and registration is located in the pavilion; participants collect their timing chip at the registration table.

Pre-registration is handled through RunSignup. Race day registration is available online until about 15 minutes before the start and hard copy registration sheets are available at the event. Minors may be pre-registered by a parent or guardian and must have a signed liability waiver. Fee structure: current ORRRC members run free; non-members pay $10 for ages 15 and up; ages 14 and under run free. Volunteers support the event.
