Camp Hook 4 Hour Trail Runs takes place April 11–12, 2026 at Camp Hook in Twin Creek MetroPark, Franklin, OH (8539 Morningstar Road). The weekend includes two events: a 4-hour Solo event and a 4-hour Team Relay. Entry is $25 per participant. The Solo event is capped at 60 runners; the Relay is capped at 90 runners. Relay teams must be 2 or 3 people; the relay does not accept individual participants. Races use a 4-hour running clock. Pacers are not allowed.

Course and logistics

The course is a roughly 1.85 mile loop on the purple trail and single track around Lake George. Surface composition is listed as 5% grass and 95% trails with roots. Elevation is described as moderate. There is one dry creek bed crossing, dependent on weather. The start/finish area is on the Parade Field meadow; teams may bring camping or lawn chairs and are limited to one pop-up canopy up to 10'x10' per team. One aid station at the start/finish will provide water and snacks free to participants and volunteers. Permanent outhouses are available in the parking lot and adjacent campsites.

Awards and camping

All finishers receive a finisher award. Solo placing awards are given to the top five men and women by loops completed. Relay placing awards are given to the top three teams in All Female, All Male, and Co-Ed categories; special relay awards include best team costumes and best decorated team camp.
