Northern Michigan Miserable Mile

The Northern Michigan Miserable Mile is a one mile track event held on August 1, 2026 at Curtis Field in Petoskey, Michigan. Participants complete four laps around the track, with a specific physical task assigned to each lap.

Lap 1 features walking lunges, with competitors able to choose a weighted division or a non weighted division. Lap 2 consists of bear crawls. Lap 3 is a farmer carry. Lap 4 is a final running lap. The event is organized into two divisions labeled Weighted Division and Standard Division.
