North Sun Ultra

North Sun Ultra takes place on June 13, 2026 in Edmonton, Alberta, using primarily single track trails within the River Valley. The course moves from the east side trails in Goldbar across to Terwillegar and returns toward a finish line in downtown Edmonton.

The route features short, punchy climbs, technical trail sections and runnable stretches. The course is well flagged and aid stations are provided every 10 km. Volunteers staff aid stations and assist with race operations.

The event is organized by a non-profit association that directs net proceeds to community organizations in Edmonton. This edition includes continued support for the Edmonton Mountain Bike Alliance.

Registration transfer rules: participants may move down in distance until June 7; moving up is not permitted. Entries cannot be transferred to another runner and resale of bibs is prohibited.
