The 5K Foam Fest is an obstacle-based fun run located in Leduc, Alberta. The event features a 5 km course with over 25 obstacles, including mud pits, 2.5 million cubic feet of foam, and an inflatable waterslide. The course is designed to be completed at the participant's own pace, and all obstacles are optional.
The event is open to multiple age groups with specific guidelines:
- Participants must be at least 7 years old to run the course.
- Children aged 7 to 12 must be accompanied by a registered adult.
- Participants aged 13 to 17 do not require a chaperone but must have a waiver signed by a legal guardian.
- A free Kids FUN Zone is available for children aged 6 and under, featuring a mini inflatable obstacle course and bounce house.
The festival area includes live music, food, local vendors, and a beer garden. Spectators can access the festival grounds, vendors, and beer garden free of charge.
