No Sto Defeats MSA 5K and Fitness Walk

No Sto Defeats MSA is a fundraising event that benefits Defeat MSA Alliance. The event offers an in-person 5K run and a 1 mile fitness walk held on the Wheeler High School cross country trail and adjacent town recreation field. The course uses field, track and trail surfaces.

A virtual support option allows participants to walk or run at a time and place of their choice, with separate registration dates for the virtual category. Registration fees stated for the in-person events are $25 and for the virtual option $20; pre-registration by September 20 qualifies for a five dollar discount.

The 5K is professionally timed and prizes are awarded for first through third place for men and women in divisions. Age divisions span from under 8 through 80 and up, with multiple intermediate categories. Additional event features include free on site child care with activities, free participant tee shirts while supplies last, local vendors, music, and a raffle for registrants present on event day.

Location details: athletic fields at Wheeler High School and adjacent town recreation field, 297 Norwich Westerly Road, North Stonington, CT 06359. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
