Course and location

The race is held at Stonington High School, 176 South Broad St, Pawcatuck, CT 06379. Registration and the course start are on the school track. After one loop on the track, the route goes about 1/2 mile on quiet dead-end streets on the school campus, then continues onto trails that include a mix of single- and double-track. Run a chip timed 5k through scenic Stonington Vineyards and celebrate with a wine pour at the finish. Registration includes a soft tee, collapsible wine glass and finisher medal while supporting the Alzheimer's Association.

Run scenic trails around Watchaug Pond at Burlingame State Park with 8 mile and 4 mile options in the Lil Rhody Runaround. Close out the WTAC Fall Race Series while soaking up classic New England fall scenery.

Tackle a scenic 5K through Oswegatchie Hills Nature Preserve, winding past Clark Pond on root and rock strewn trails; hikers welcome. This fourth annual run benefits preserve maintenance and finishes with local pub awards and camaraderie.

Hit the newly restored Moosup Valley State Park Trail on Sunday, September 27 for scenic 5K, 10K and a kids fun run on all trail terrain. Post race food and gear, leashed dogs welcome, and proceeds support the Rotary Club of Plainfield.
