The 50K is a point to point course that runs along the Ice Age Trail, with the finish at Greenbush Group Camp and the start at Ridge Road Trailhead near Sunburst Ski Hill. Transportation from Greenbush Group Camp to the start is provided. Aid and drop bag access for 50K runners are scheduled at Mile 3.5 and Mile 25, and additional water is available at or near backcountry shelters along the course. Aid station supplies include water, sports drink, Coke, Mt. Dew and assorted typical ultra aid station foods. After the run, food and refreshments are available at the Group Camp Shelter.
The organizer describes the event as a fun run rather than a race; no results will be posted on UltraSignup.com. The event notes limited availability and that it may sell out.
