Course and support

The course is a point-to-point tour of the Northern Kettle Moraine Ice Age Trail. The 50K starts at the Ridge Road Trailhead near Sunburst Ski Hill and finishes at Greenbush Group Camp. Transportation is provided from the finish to the start. Aid and drop-bag access for 50K runners is available at the Group Camp finish and at Mile 3.5 and Mile 25. Additional water is available at or near backcountry shelters along the course. Food and refreshments are provided at the finish shelter. Aid stations will include water, sports drink, Coke, Mt. Dew and assorted standard ultra aid-station foods. Trail surfaces range from smooth, rolling ski trails to rocky and rooty sections and include the highest point in the Northern Kettle Moraine State Forest. Join Moonlight Meltdown and Sunset Safari in Belgium, Wisconsin for a flat, well lit 5k or a scenic 10k into Harrington Beach State Park. Chip timing, shirts and refreshments raise funds for Belgium Fire and Rescue and local youth programs.

Take on the Cliff Runner 10K on July 19, 2026 at High Cliff State Park, a rugged singletrack course with rocks, roots and steep climbs. Registration includes a Cliff Runner tee and finisher medal, with proceeds to Purdy Nature Preserve.

Run the Twisted Roots marathon or half at High Cliff State Park near Sherwood, Wisconsin. Tackle technical single track, rolling prairie and cliffside views of Lake Winnebago on scenic, community driven courses.
