Course and support

Aid and drop-bag access for 50K runners are provided at Mile 3.5, Mile 25, and at the finish; water is also available at or near backcountry shelters along the course. Aid stations list water, sports drink, Coke, Mt. Dew, and assorted typical ultra aid foods. A food and refreshment area is available at the Group Camp Shelter after the run. The course includes ski trails and sections of rocky, rooty Ice Age Trail terrain and reaches the highest point in the Northern Kettle Moraine State Forest.
