Greenbush, United States • 11 Apr 2026
Event Details
The NK50k is an annual fun run scheduled for April 11. It features 50K and 25K distances. The event is a point-to-point tour on the Ice Age Trail in the Northern Kettle Moraine State Forest, starting from the Ridge Road Trailhead and finishing at Greenbush Group Camp in Greenbush, Wisconsin.
Course and Support
The course traverses varied terrain, including smooth ski trails and rocky, rooty sections of the Ice Age Trail. Aid stations for 50K runners will be at Mile 3.5 and Mile 25, providing water, sports drink, soda, and assorted ultra foods. Water is also available at other points along the course near backcountry shelters.
Logistics
Transportation by bus will be provided. A bus leaves the finish area (Greenbush Group Camp) at 6:00 AM to take 50K runners to the start at Ridge Road. Another bus leaves at 9:30 AM to take 25K runners to their start at Crooked Lake. After the run, food and refreshments will be available at the Group Camp Shelter. The organizers note this is a run, not a race, and no results will be posted. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
