The NK50k event is a spring trail running gathering in the Greenbush area of Wisconsin offering two distances:

The course is a point to point tour of the Northern Kettle Moraine Ice Age Trail. Trail surfaces vary from smooth, rolling ski trails to rocky and rooty sections and include the highest point in the Northern Kettle Moraine State Forest.

Logistics are organized around the Greenbush Group Camp, which serves as the finish area and primary aid location. Transportation is provided from the finish to the start. Aid and drop bag access for 50K participants are provided at the finish plus at Mile 3.5 and Mile 25; additional water is available at or near backcountry shelters along the course. Aid stations list water, sports drink, Coke, Mt. Dew and assorted typical ultra aid station foods. Food and refreshments are available at the Group Camp Shelter after the run.

The event is presented as a fun run rather than a competitive race; no official results will be posted on UltraSignup. The organizer notes that while aid is planned at listed locations, participants should be prepared for self-reliance as conditions can change.
