Event Overview

The Sunset Safari 10k Trail Run is a part of the 13th Annual Moonlight Meltdown, taking place in Belgium, Wisconsin. This event offers participants a variety of distances and terrain types, centered around the local community and natural landmarks. The race is staged at Kyote-s Bar and Grill.

Participants can choose from three main distances:

  • 5 km road run and walk through the streets of Belgium.
  • 10 km hybrid trail run.
  • 13.1 mile half marathon.

The 10 km course is a hybrid layout that leads runners toward Harrington Beach State Park. This route includes a 1.2 mile section on a snowmobile trail located within the park grounds. The 13.1 mile Lakeview Half Marathon also utilizes the paths within Harrington Beach State Park.

All participants receive a custom race t-shirt as well as refreshments and food following the event. The gathering concludes at Kyote-s with a post-race party and cash raffles.
