Sunset Safari is a 10k hybrid crossover trail run presented by Petersen Onsite as part of the Moonlight Meltdown event on April 24, 2027 at KYOTES Bar and Grill in Belgium, Wisconsin. The event is organized by Snow Runners LTD.
The course combines a 5.0 mile road section with a 1.2 mile trail section that runs through Harrington Beach State Park along the Snow Runners LTD snowmobile trail. The trail portion is a mowed grass path with a few rolling hills, wildlife sightings, and scenic park views. There are elevation changes throughout the course.
Organizers note that there may be a few wet areas through the park, so participants should expect potential water on parts of the trail. The event is chip timed. The Sunset Safari 10k has an age minimum of 11 years for participants.
