The Moonlight Meltdown and Sunset Safari event is an annual running event held on April 25, 2026 in Belgium, Wisconsin. It is a chip timed event staged at KYOTES Bar and Grill, 129 Spring Street, Belgium, WI. Proceeds support Belgium Fire and Rescue, Snow Runners LTD., and Rocket Academy. Race day parking is available at no charge.

Courses and race details

• 5k road run/walk - 3.1 miles, course through the streets of Belgium, finishes at KYOTES, flat and well lit.
• 10k hybrid/crossover trail run - 6.2 miles, with a road portion and a 1.2 mile trail section through Harrington Beach State Park on a mowed grass path.

The trail section includes rolling hills, some elevation changes, and areas where wildlife may be present. The park section may have wet areas depending on conditions. Participants receive a custom race shirt and food/refreshments; shirts may not be guaranteed for registrations after the posted deadline.
