The NAV4 LiAD Recce from Caldbeck to Threlkeld is a guided recce event hosted by Joe Faulkner and the NAV4 team on behalf of Durty Events. Covering a challenging 12-mile section of the Lakes in a Day route, participants navigate remote, rough fell terrain including the River Caldew ford, the ascent of Blencathra, and the steep descent of Hallsfell Ridge, with 3,600 feet of ascent and descent. The event offers expert guidance on navigation, gear, nutrition, and strategy, fostering a supportive atmosphere among LiAD participants.
